Orange County Choppers in Brazil

I’ve never been a fan of motorbikes or any means of transportation for that matter…ever since I was a child I’m completely unable to master them, it’s like a true conspiracy!!!!!!!!!!
Learning how to ride a bicycle was the hardest and most traumatizing thing for me as a child…not enough coordination, lots of falling and bruising…I had had enough after a little while. I did get to learn how to do it without any help, but I hated it so much that I quit soon after. Same thing with cars…I never wanted to learn how to drive them, then I feared them, then I hated them, took a long time to learn and now that I know I still hate them and prefer to take a bus and/or the subway and/or a ride or a taxi to go anywhere.
Well, given my personal history with motorized means of transportation (btw, I’d love to get a chauffeur, if anyone wants to drive me around – for free, of course – please let me know), you’re probably thinking "Why the hell is she writing about the OCC guys??".
In case you don’t know OCC, they’re some crazy and very funny dudes who do a TV reality show called American Choppers, where they start a motorbike from scratch, doing the most bizarre and beautiful designs ever. Very cool, really!!! I don’t know why, but my fetish for cars and bikes is very big, considering what I’ve just said above. I would understand, for instance, the Hell’s Angels love for motorbikes and TV shows related to the subject, but mine…really unexplainable. Watching the OCC people on TV almost makes me want to learn how to ride a bike and get out there with my hair blowing on the wind heheheheh LOL
And why am I talking about this today, you ask…because they came to Brazil (I think they’re leaving today, in fact). Too bad they went to Brasília (the capital of the country, far far away from São Paulo or any other city for that matter!! hahahah), or I’d have gone to see them. The bad thing is that they made a special bike to celebrate Brazil’s independance day (September 7th). They went to the parade with it, and apparently they donated it (plus a jacket or something like that) to our dear president, how cute is that…NOT! Poor guys…it took them a lot of money and time to make that beautiful work of art, just to be wasted on our asenine president’s ass! I don’t know why they did that…no politician deserves to have that kind of bike, or publicity at all!!! Oh well…maybe they did it for their own publicity? Maybe they wanted to raise some polemic among their fans? Bah, it doesn’t matter, either way the deed is done and I’ve gathered a few photos for you to see how cool the bike is.
