for the day…BAM! – I mean, RIIINNGGGG! My brother calls and says that
he’s bringing home a french-portuguese guy called José (who came to
stay 1 month here in Brazil because of work), and his girlfriend (also
french) Shirley.
I hadn’t even eaten yet, but since they hadn’t eaten neither, I thought
I’d wait for them to see what would happen. By the time they arrived,
left their bags here and we decided where to go, it was already 3 – by
then my stomach was pretty much like this ->
So we went to a mall (Morumbi) and had lunch there. Shirley tried the
Ovaltine milkshake and simply LOVED it, but she said it was a dessert
glacé, not something to drink with food, it’s meant to be eaten (!)
afterwards. LOL Me, I ate pretty much like a pig compared to them,
really
Then the predictable thing happened…boys gone gaming, girls gone shopping
It was fun going around with her, she learned quite a few (but
essential) words in portuguese, so even if I wasn’t there with her
she’d totally be able to search and buy everything she needed!!! Really
cute And she was completely
surprised (in a positive way) with the way sellers act and talk – she
said they’re extremely friendly and they help you with good humour and
all, but without being artificial. In France, according to her, when
you enter a store the sellers leave you alone and only answer the
questions you ask. I thought to myself "Huh, that’d be good for a
change…"
In $um, the re$ult of our shopping were 2 shoes and 3 blouses instead of only one shoe and 1 blouse
She thought everything was comfortable, had a good quality and a great
price, cool! Plus, between one piece of clothing and the other we kept
gossiping, of course Language
has never been a bareer for two girls, amazing!!! LOOOOOL Even the
words I didn’t know came out one way or the other, and she also helped
me, so we communicated pretty well!!! I suppose the guys had fun too cause they were in a good mood.
Afterwards we took them for a quick tour around SP (by car, no time to
stop) and then dropped them at the airport (they’re going to Fortalezae
for a week and then coming back to SP). It was such a cool day, it put
me in a very very good mood!!!!!!!!!
That’s all for now folks. Me = tiredddd – never thought that speaking french for more than 5 hours was this much lol
